College houses

House features

Repair work, garbage and recycling pickup and yard maintenance are the responsibility of the college, but residents are responsible for their own snow removal in college house driveways and for the correct placement of garbage and recycling bins. Residents are also responsible for utilities (charged directly to the residents’ student accounts) and telephone services.

Each house includes wireless internet and TV access. Please see the ITS Service Desk page for more details.

The houses are open during all campus breaks. Applications for winter, early arrival and summer breaks must be submitted for safety purposes. Summer housing comes with an additional cost. Housing during winter break has no additional cost.

College House residents should become familiar with the living guidelines.

The houses are overseen by two Area Coordinators, one for the Residential Themed Communities and one for the non-service houses.

City ordinances

The SNC College Houses are part of the De Pere community in addition to the St. Norbert College community. Residents of college houses are expected to not only adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth by the college, but also to follow all City of De Pere ordinances.

Residents not following city ordinances can be ticketed and fined by the City of De Pere. A complete listing of all city ordinances can be found on the City of De Pere website.

Parking policy

All college house residents must register their vehicle for a free house-resident parking permit from Parking/Campus Safety. The house-resident parking permit allows the college house residents to park in their house’s driveway and in any student parking lot. College house parking policy guidelines.
