Housing Selection Process

Continuing-student housing application information will be announced each year starting in December for the following Academic Year. EVERY STUDENT MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION.

  • Step 1: Students will have a timeframe in March to submit applications and pair up as roommates. It is crucial that students complete the application and pair up with their roommates in the system during this timeframe. Exact dates will be emailed to students.
  • Step 2: Once the application closes, REH will begin assigning timeslots to students of when they will be able to select. Every student will be emailed their timeslot at the end of March. Timeslots are randomly generated, and ordered by HOUSING classification. (i.e. rising Fourth year students go first, Third years go second, etc.) There will be a time to appeal housing classification if you believe the one you received was incorrect or an exception should be made.
  • Step 3: Students will select housing based on the timeslot they received. This will take place over 3 weeks in April, starting with rising Fourth year students and ending with rising Second year Students. If your first choice of housing is unavailable at the time of selection, please pick another housing assignment and put your name on the waitlist at the end of the application.
