Madelaine/Lorraine Hall

Madelaine/Lorraine Hall (Mad/Lor) is a coeducational hall nestled on the Fox River that houses approximately 190 students. Men live in Madelaine, the west wing of the building, while women live in Lorraine, the east wing. Just across the street from the Gehl-Mulva Science Center. Its shared common lounge is a great place to meet friends and offers access to a large patio that overlooks the river. The hall has a remodeled rec room and common kitchen, comfortable study lounges, and a quiet chapel for conversation and reflection.

Building features

A common first-floor lobby and a shared lower level join the two wings.

The large lower level houses a recreation room with air hockey, foosball and a pool table; a study lounge; vending machines; a TV area; a full kitchen; and laundry facilities.

A reflection chapel is located in a quiet corner on the first floor.

This residence hall requires a meal plan based on your housing year classification.

Room furnishings

Each room is furnished with:

  • Double Rooms: Two loftable beds, two moveable wardrobes with full length mirror, two moveable dressers, two moveable desks and chairs
  • Curtains
  • Most Rooms include a Sink and Mirror, with the exception of some end rooms
