Dennis M. Burke Hall

Burke Hall, named for the second president of St. Norbert College, is located on the south side of campus. The back features a grassy hill that gently rolls down to the edge of the Fox River. Burke Hall’s classical architecture makes it a true icon on campus. It has an inviting entry-level lounge, a common kitchen and recreation room in its lower level, and a peaceful chapel for reflection and quiet conversation. The four-story coeducational hall houses 126 second-, third- and fourth-year students.

Building features

Located by the main entrance, the colonial-style fireplace lounge offers a perfect place for quiet socializing and studying. This area provides an ideal atmosphere to work on small group projects or hold small meetings for clubs and organizations.

A lounge on the lower level provides residents with a space for gathering. Conveniently located next to the kitchen, the lounge is an area where students are able to prepare and eat meals together. It also provides a great atmosphere for relaxing, watching movies, socializing, playing video games or watching your favorite sports teams on tv.

The kitchen has two stoves, two microwaves, two sinks, two refrigerators and basic kitchen utensils available for student use.

This residence hall requires a meal plan based on your housing year classification.
