The First-Year Experience Student Coordinator does all that and more!
You will help hire, train, and supervise FYE Mentors.
You will be part of curating Summer Orientation and Week of Welcome.
You will gain leadership training, communication skills, program management, partner relations, public speaking, and so much more.
- November 6th - applications close at 12 p.m.
- November 23rd - interviews completed
- Dec 1st - onboarding before winter break
- January 25th - position begins
- The FYE Coordinator works up to 10 hours during the academic year.
- During summer & program dates, up to 40 hours per week.
- Must live on or near campus over the summer.
- This role lasts from January 2027 to May 2028.
- A collaboration with Residential, Education, & Housing brings the possibility of student housing being covered during the summer.
- One student could serve in this role, or two students could co-coordinate. Hours will be adjusted as necessary.
- Students may have other jobs on or off campus while in this position.
