Upperclass living areas

St. Norbert College offers a variety of living options for students throughout their four years on campus. Students are charged varying amounts depending on the location they live in during the academic year. All upperclass areas are open during J-term.

Costs by living option

Burke Hall

Burke Hall, named after the second president of St. Norbert College, is located on the south side of campus along the banks of the Fox River. The four-story colonial-style hall houses 126 students.

Carriage House

The Carriage House consists of three two-person apartments and four four-person apartments. The Carriage House remains open during campus breaks.

College houses

Thirty-six college houses are available to upperclass students. Each house has a different number of rooms, and accommodates two to six residents.

Doksany Hall

Doksany Hall is located on the west side of campus, near Birder Hall. The two-story hall has 15 single rooms available for female students.

Gries Hall

Gries Hall offers upperclass students apartment-style accommodations with four single bedrooms in each unit. Containing 36 four-person apartments, the hall houses a total of 144 students.

Hugh Hall

Hugh Hall offers three different types of rooms: single rooms with individual bathrooms, suites with two single rooms and a shared bathroom, or double rooms with a single bathroom — all located on the second floor.

Prémontré and Xanten Halls

Prémontré and Xanten Halls offer both four-person and two-person apartments, housing a total of 154 students. Each apartment has one or two bedrooms, an open-concept living, dining and kitchen area, and a balcony or patio.

Roggenburg Hall

Roggenburg Hall is located on the west side of campus, next to Birder Hall. The two-story hall has six single and two double bedrooms available for a total of 10 male residents.

St. Joseph Hall

St. Joseph Hall opened to students in fall 2016, and is located on the Fox River, next to Old St. Joseph Church. St. Joseph Hall houses three floors of two-person suites, with a total capacity of 72 students. The third floor houses SNC's Catholic Living Learning Community (CLLC).

Townhouses

There are 14 multi-level townhouses available to upperclass residents. Each unit has three bedrooms, a dining area, living area, two bathrooms, a full-size kitchen and a shared balcony that overlooks the Fox River.
