Children 5-8 Years of Age
Kids Kamp at the Children’s Center is a school-age summer program combining children 5-8 years of age, that combines collaborative work and self-directed learning. Kids are involved in classroom activities, teacher-led large group activities, self-initiated workbook learning, quiet reading, outdoor games & sports, and field trips.
The environment encourage peer-mentorship where older children solidify their knowledge by teaching younger peers, while younger children build social skills by observing and working with the older group. Academic skills are maintained to insure success in their upcoming school year. Parents are an integral part of their child's continued success by informing the teachers what skills their child needs to practice.
