The 3K program is a precursor to 4K and builds the strengths & skills that children need to be successful in 4K. The classroom maintains a play-based environment while focusing on social-emotional health that teaches children how to work in groups, use appropriate behavior when setbacks occur, and get their personal needs met.

Play-based learning is a research-based educational approach that uses play as the primary vehicle for instruction. It harnesses children's natural curiosity, combining self-directed free play with teacher-guided activities. Through exploration, children actively build cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skills while maintaining a love for learning.

Our play-based curriculum is built on these beliefs, which are, in turn, strongly influenced by Wisconsin Early Learning Standards (WMELS), Creative Curriculum, and the Nat'l Association for the Education of Young Children.
