St. Norbert college takes pride in its social life. With a wide variety of fraternities, sororities, social groups, clubs, organizations and sports, students have a long list of options to choose from. To bond and uplift the school spirit, organizations host annual cookouts. Massive in size and bursting with energy, everyone contributes time and effort to make the event as lively as possible.
This campus is a second home for everyone who fell in love with the beautiful architecture, stunning greenery and the sense of community and belonging. But it’s not just the campus itself that is a second home, it's the people. Becoming a student means finding yourself as a part of something bigger, it means finding a second family. SNC is a family like any other, with its own traditions and peculiar quirks: formals, dinners, fireworks and cookouts. On October fourth one of these cookouts resulted in crashing success. An atmosphere built by multiple social groups work, collaborating to join together and celebrate the beginning of the new school year.
The event included a variety of outdoor games, a good smelling grill and summer hits through the speaker. Phi delta theta, Kappa sigma, Delta phi epsilon, BUD, CCHammers, TKE, Alphas, Thetas and IFC all attended the cookout which accounted for the lively energy. This is the spirit of the school painted like a movie scene.
