Do you like to act? Do you have a passion for the technical elements of a production? Have you never been in a show before and want to see what it’s like? This is the opportunity for you! The members of the Creative Writing Club have worked tirelessly last semester to write three amazing plays, for which we are now looking for actors and technicians to bring to life.
If you have never been a part of a production before, this is your chance to see what it is all about! With a low-commitment and flexible schedule, this is the perfect opportunity to get your feet wet. The plays, ranging in genres from a comedic mystery to supernatural horror to dark buddy comedy, are sure to have something everyone can enjoy.
Feel like you might be interested? Auditions for acting and crew interest are being held on February 11 and 12, in the drama room (basement of Pennings Hall of Fine Arts), from 7-8:30. Attendance is only required at one audition day! We are on the lookout for actors as well as help with costumes, directing, sound, lighting, props, and the run crew. Performances will be free to the public and will take place at the beginning of May.
