  • Manually Maintained

    Manually maintained email lists are used by groups such as departments and student organizations to facilitate discussion among members. For most of these lists, all members have permission to send email to the list (though this setting can be changed by the list owner).

    These email lists are created in Google Groups, and therefore, the information about them is not available here. To see all of the lists that you're on, visit groups.google.com and click on "My Groups". You may find this knowledge base article helpful: How to manage your email list

    One example of a manually maintained list used to be the SNC Classifieds list, but it has since moved to MySNC. If you have any questions regarding this, view the following Knowledge Base Articles:

  • Automatically Maintained

    Automated email lists are maintained by our administrative system based on memberships in certain defined groups, such as all sophomores, or all those registered for a particular course, or all staff members, or everyone with access to a particular campus system such as Cascade Server. Users cannot subscribe to or unsubscribe from these lists.
