About Us
LGBTQ+Spectrum Aliance finds value in educating its members, supporters, and St. Norbert College campus on issues pertaining to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, etc. (LGBTQ+) issues, as well as issues affecting those with allyship and supporters. LGBTQ+ Spectrum Alliance exists to protect, voice, and act upon the needs and the rights of the LGBTQ+ students on campus, and in communities outside St. Norbert College as well. We strive for formal and informal social networking and support of LGBTQ+ college community members, as well as its straight members. We maintain an open, welcoming, non-judgmental and non-partisan environment for sharing experiences and opinions, especially regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, and relationship issues. At its heart, LGBTQ+ Spectrum Alliance is a proponent of the LGBTQ+ community and deeply cares about educating people of the St. Norbert community regarding issues of healthy relationships of all kind. The LGBTQ+ Spectrum Alliance hosts several events in support of the LGBTQ+ community such as Day of Silence, Knight of Noise, and Coming Out Week. As members of this group, we seek to express support of those who are in the LGBTQ+ community or those that have allyship on St. Norbert College's campus.
