Covid vaccine update
Everyone 6 months and older is now eligible and recommended to receive the updated Covid vaccine. Doses of the updated vaccine, manufactured by Moderna and Pfizer, have been approved, authorized and recommended by national health experts.
Doses of the updated COVID-19 vaccine will start arriving in Wisconsin within the coming days and will continue to be delivered over the next several weeks.
For the first time since the pandemic, this vaccine is billable to private insurance. Health Services will not be stocking this vaccine; however, these vaccines are widely available and can be obtained from multiple locations in the community, including local clinics and pharmacies (e.g., CVS and Walgreens). Please be sure to have your insurance information handy when seeking this vaccine in the community.
If you have questions about this vaccine or any other vaccinations, please reach out to Health Services at 920-403-3266 or health@snc.edu.
