Introducing: Health and Wellness Services
Health Services and Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) have merged into one department, offering the same great services for the SNC community!
A merged Health and Wellness Services will offer an integrated approach to wellness and strengthen the foundation for providing holistic care for students. This approach is also consistent with some of the societal and cultural shifts that emphasize wellness.
What this means:

Look Up: An Advent Journey
Monday, Dec. 4-Monday, Dec. 11
The Emmaus Center invites you to journey with Mary through the grittiness of Advent to honor the many emotions you experience in this season. Each weekday (Dec. 4-11) the center will place a new image in the office windows with a question or quote as you anticipate Christmas. Join the Emmaus Center each day for a new opportunity to prepare your hearts.
The images will be placed in the Todd Wehr Hall 2nd floor windows facing Cofrin.

Pop-up flu clinic
Wednesday, Dec. 6
Protect yourself and your loved ones before returning home for the holidays! Health and Wellness Services will be giving flu shots on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 12-1 p.m. in the Sensenbrenner Conf. Room (located in lobby area of Ruth's Marketplace). No appointment is necessary, just walk-in. Free for students, as well as SNC employees & spouses of employees covered by SNC UMR Insurance. For employees without SNC UMR Insurance, the cost is $35 billed to insurance, if on file. Health Services cannot guarantee insurance reimbursement. Please note SNC is not an in-network provider and Health and Wellness Services does not bill Medicare.

Snow and Tell with The Collaborative

Wondering how to get involved in research? Interested in research but not sure how to approach it? Not sure how to secure funding for research?
Join for a fun and casual time of hearing from your peers and their experience with research. Listen to short talks and learn more about collaborative research and funding. You'll have an opportunity to ask questions of faculty on topics you are interested in for your own research and how to get started.
Come in your fave ugly Christmas sweater for a chance to win a prize. There will be plenty of appetizers. RSVP and let people know you are coming!

Christmas Dinner at Ruth's Marketplace

Bring your friends, wear your ugliest sweater and join Dining Services for their second special event of the season!
The Ruth's Marketplace annual Christmas Dinner will features classic entrees,
and sides, a festive appetizer spread, decorating your own Christmas cookies, holiday desserts around the tree and more.
Please note Ruth's will close from 2-4:30 p.m. to decorate for the feast and Dale's Sports Lounge will close that evening to assist with the meal.

Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Tuesday, Dec. 12
Join on Dec. 12 at 12 p.m. at Old St. Joe's for a mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. An image of the Virgin Mary is displayed and all are welcome to leave flowers (roses). Food will be provided after the mass.
