Details

Join artist Morgan O'Hara for a special artist lecture in conjunction with her exhibition, Handwriting the Constitution, currently on view in the Godschalx Gallery. O'Hara will discuss the origins and development of this ongoing social art project, which invites participants to handwrite the United States Constitution and other human rights documents as a form of reflection, civic engagement, and public dialogue. The lecture offers an opportunity to learn more about the project's history, its impact on communities across the country, and the role of art in fostering democratic participation and civic awareness.

The exhibition Handwriting the Constitution, the campus visit of Morgan O'Hara, and all related public programs are made possible through the generous support of the Norman Miller Center for Peace, Justice, and Public Understanding.
