Welcome to the home of OIE

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is responsible for managing student data snapshots, federal reporting and external surveys (IPEDS, CDS, etc.), coordinating  internal surveys, and assessing program review and student learning outcomes.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) at St. Norbert College has three major functions:

  • Conducting institutional research on questions regarding students, faculty, staff, programs and policies at the college, and sharing and disseminating data and findings with internal and external audiences.
  • Overseeing, coordinating and supporting the institution’s efforts to assess student learning outcomes at the college and discipline/program level.
  • Coordinating and supporting the institution’s efforts to comply with policies and criteria for accreditation established by the Higher Learning Commission.
