Thinking about housing for next year? If you are a first-year student, consider applying for Michels Hall. If you are a second-year student and beyond, consider applying for RTC. These residential service programs require 15 hours of service each semester. The deadline to apply for both programs is Feb. 5, 2024.

Campus Safety staffing update
Eric Dunning, director of Campus Safety, will be stepping down from his role after almost 4.5 years of service to the SNC community. His last day will be Dec. 22, 2023. The college would like to extend a huge thank you to Eric for his endless contributions, time and commitment to SNC – especially during the COVID years!
Jim Vickman, current Campus Safety officer, will become the new director of Campus Safety effective Dec. 23, 2023. Please welcome Jim and congratulate him on his new role.

Submit to the 2024 Delaney Awards
As you relax over the winter break, consider getting a piece of your original writing ready to submit to the 2024 Delaney Literary Awards.
In 2024, there are two awards of $1,600 each available from the Delaney Endowment. The awards are open to juniors and seniors in any major outside of English. You can enter one submission in one of the three following categories: Critical Essay, Creative Prose or Poetry. Your submission must be original work, not done for a class at SNC.

Holiday Pops

Come experience the annual holiday music celebration at the Weidner Center featuring the Dudley Birder Chorale, Birder Studio children's choir, and NEWDO ballet, with the Holiday Pops orchestra featuring many SNC faculty and staff, directed by Kent Paulsen. SNC Youth Choirs 2023 Holiday Concert
